We’re struggling to believe it – but we’ve been in business for a whole year! As we launch into FY2, we’ve taken some time to reflect on a few of our highlights from the last 12 months.
There’s no doubt that the business has grown more than we could have predicted, as we’ve just closed our best-ever month and best-ever quarter, up 318% from where we started! But for us the most important thing has always been the relationships we build with our clients, which is why we’re so excited that 79% of our placements to date have been with repeat customers.
Having placed a mixture of permanent and contract professionals across software development, project management, business analysis and business intelligence, we’ve really been kept on our toes. By keeping to our specialisms and developing our unique ‘grown-up approach’ to recruitment, we’ve been privileged to add genuine value to some of the North West’s largest, and smallest, businesses.
So through all this, what have our best moments been?
For us, the approach has always been simple: we consult carefully, meeting over 95% of our clients to fully get-to-grips with their company culture, goals and ‘pain points’, and appreciate the direction of their business. We also meet over 95% of our candidates, to ensure we get to know them professionally and personally, and understand what it is that makes them tick when it comes to their career. With an agreed plan of action, regular progress updates and continual consulting, we are able find the best fit for everyone involved.
The big question now is: What’s next? For 2017-18 our biggest priorities will be to maintain our relaxed company culture, to continue building on our client and candidate successes, and to grow our own team as well.
We’ve thoroughly enjoyed the work we’ve done this year and the amazing results our team has achieved. We’re confident that next year will be even better, and we’d love for you to join us along the way!
