My client is looking to hire React developers to work in one of Manchester’s best office spaces. You’ll be working almost exclusively on greenfield projects where you’ll be assigned to squads based on your skills and experience. This company are investing heavily in the latest tech and are working to build apps that manipulate big data, leading to increased customer service and allowing the business to make data-driven decisions.

There are currently 6 tech squads. The new squad will be working on a new and unique project.

Typically, each squad has a dedicated QA / Software release manager, a lead developer a DevOps person and Scrum master as well as a mixture of full-stack, back and front-end JavaScript Engineers. This means you can be fully homed in on software development and work in a streamlined, high functioning environment whilst being totally focused on your specific role within the team. They are trying to become predictive in how they run their businesses, order and sell their products by analysing huge data sets and seeing how outside factors affect sales (weather for example)

What’s the job?

  • Working on brand new builds integral to the company development
  • Building apps to manipulate Big Data
  • Learning and developing with cutting edge technology, and bringing new ideas to the table
  • Working alongside dedicated QA and DevOps Teams, as well as with the tech leads

What’s the tech stack?

  • React Or other JS frameworks (the business is looking for both React and Node Developers)
  • JavaScript
  • HTML & CSS
  • An understanding of NodeJS would be nice but not essential
  • Unit testing experience
  • Git skills
