A great opportunity has just landed on my desk in the Birmingham area. This company are looking for multiple embedded software engineers as their business takes on more and more projects in 2019. They are happy to look at all candidates ranging from junior to senior level.

The role of embedded software engineer reports directly to the Technical Manager with a dotted line to the Software Director. It is a small business which will give you exposure to all aspects of the projects. You’ll be developed considerably giving you the chance to learn new skills dependent on the requirements of the customer.

You’ll be given the chance to work on projects across multiple industries ranging from automotive and industrial through to consumer and connected technology. Regardless of experience, this role offers the chance to grow and progress your career working for a flexible company who are growing year on year.

Embedded Software Requirements:
  • Degree qualified in Software Engineer or relevant subject
  • Embedded C/C++ programming
  • Microcontrollers/Microprocessors
  • Understanding of electronics
  • Communication Protocols – WiFi, Bluetooth, Zigbee etc
  • Strong communication skills
  • Project management exposure
