This globally recognised brand is looking for a new Embedded Software Engineer to join their 10-person engineering team. You’ll be joining an innovative development team who specialize in generating globally-lead electronics showing your true creative and technical potential as an Embedded Software Engineer.

Due to the nature of this role, the Engineering Manager is open on experience levels and is happy to consider someone from junior level all the way up to senior engineer. You’ll be working and collaborating with a mix of electronics, software, mechanical and test engineers in this position.

As an Embedded Software Engineer, you’ll be responsible for cradle to grave projects with quick turn around on some projects. This role is exciting as you’ll be given the opportunity to work on new and existing projects continuously as existing tenders and bids are being won.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Writing strong software to adhere to the company’s quality standards
  • Embedded Systems design, development and testing
  • Firmware development on electronic platforms

Embedded Software Skills:

  • Degree qualified or equivalent in Electronics or Software Engineering
  • Embedded C or C++ programming
  • Microcontroller development
  • Communication Protocols – all considered
  • Electronics background
  • Experience with GSM/GPS cellular technology (desirable)
