After recently growing the team, this company are at it again. We’re on the search for an Embedded Software Engineer with a focus more on wireless communications. This company are ramping up towards production in 2020 so it’s a great time to be joining the business. If you’re a blue-sky thinking, creative and innovative engineer please read below.

The role of Embedded Software Engineer reports to the Head of Electronics on a day to day basis, however, he is hands-on, and you’ll be alongside him on the key projects. Technically this company operates under a “start-up” umbrella but they’re much more evolved and in 12 months have got to 20 people. This role is the last piece of the puzzle for the development team and will be looking to bring in production staff later in the year.

As an Embedded Software Engineer, you’ll be doing real product design and development from scratch. The team needs someone who has key experiences in wireless communications ideally within a telecoms or medical environment.

Embedded Software Engineer Requirements:

  • Degree/Masters qualified or equivalent in Software or Electronics subject
  • Embedded C programming
  • Wireless Communications – Cellular, GSM/GPRS, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi
  • High-level microprocessors – up to 32 bit (all considered)
  • Hardware Integration
  • Exposure to DSP technology would be advantageous
