We are currently recruiting for a newly created role as a Web Analyst joining a leading European technical product specialist who are going through a tech and digital transformation in order to align with the company’s transformative vision. This role is offering up to £30K to £40K (depending on experience) with hybrid/flexible working based out of their Wigan office.

As a Web Analyst you will be working closely with the Digital Insights Manager, Data Scientist and Data Analyst to improve user experience on their website. You will be responsible for analysing user data, behaviour and journeys across the website using Google Analytics 4 and other web analytical tools. You will also work closely with the UX Designer to carry out UX research and conduct AB testing.

Their overarching strategy is to build a better overall user and customer experience, ecommerce strategy and technical platform to create greater alignment and efficiency across the business.  As the SME you will be on the front line with regards to the selection and implementation of ‘fit for purpose’ tools and technologies.

The Web  Analyst role will suit someone with excellent communication skills who is proactive and knowledgeable. You will need to be highly organised with excellent documentation and coordination skills.  This role is centred around empowerment, taking responsibility and bring ideas that can be implemented and make genuine performance enhancements.

Web Analyst Essential experience:

  • Proficient in using web analytics tools such as Google Analytics 4
  • GA 4 set-up | reporting
  • Skilled at analysing user journeys across websites
  • Skilled at interpretating data and identifying trends
  • Excellent Communication

Web UX Analyst Desirable experience:

  • Hotjar | Net promoter scores
  • Experience with A/B testing
  • B2B experience
