Due to strong growth, we are recruiting for an excellent engineering & manufacturing SME based in Speke.

They are looking to add talent to their existing team in the role of Stores Controller.

This will involve raising orders, maintaining stock levels, liaising with suppliers and colleagues. Communication and collaboration are critical within this role so being able to demonstrate this is key.

Previous experience in a fast-paced environment as a Stores Controller is crucial.

Stores Controller Responsibilities:

  • General management of inventory
  • Goods inspection
  • Conducting stock-takes and preparing reports
  • Liaising with procurement and design departments to eliminate kit shortages
  • Accepting unused stock back form manufacturing
  • Inventory monitoring and planning to reduce stock-outs
  • Working with MRP software packages
  • Placing of purchase orders
  • Goods outwards – arranging the packing and shipment of finished goods
