An exciting opportunity has come up for an advanced and innovative technology company in the Sheffield area. We’re looking for an energetic Software Team Lead to lead a team that is being created from scratch.
The role of Software Team Lead is a result of strategic growth across the business and will report to the Director of Software. You’ll be responsible for recruiting, leading, and mentoring a small team working on middleware applications for their products.
The Software Team Lead is the bridge between the embedded systems and the DevOps/Data science engineers. You’ll start by reviewing their existing code and software with a view then to implement new ideas, processes, and procedures.
You’ll eventually have full ownership of all software related issues within the business looking at architecture, design, development, bug fixing and deployment. This business has been heavily in the news recently after receiving a large round of investment to take the technology to the next level and grow in headcount.
