A global engineering & scientific business in the Manchester area is looking to add multiple heads to its R&D department. Despite the Covid pandemic they have seen strong growth and they now have a requirement for multiple Physicists (Senior & Principal level) to work on projects from cradle to grave.

The role of Physicist is highly challenging and full lifecycle. Typical duties include developing specifications for new products through simulation & theoretical studies, detailed design, documentation, prototyping, test & validation, continuous improvement and offering support on existing projects. There will also be plenty of opportunities to take the lead on certain projects.

This an outstanding position for a Physicist with proven experience to work with advanced technology at a company that offers a great salary/benefits package as well as long term progression.

Physicist Requirements:

  • PhD or master’s level in Physics minimum
  • Proven analytical / scientific instrumentation design experience
  • Ultra-high vacuum, Mass spectrometers, XPS, Lasers etc. experience (or similar) – desirable
