A global engineering business in the Greater Manchester area recruiting for an experienced Senior Mechanical Design Engineer with strong machine design skills to design & develop cutting edge capital equipment.
The successful Senior Mechanical Design Engineer candidate will work across the full project lifecycle. This includes from blank sheet design, customer interaction, in-depth CAD design, calculations, prototyping and taking your design through to manufacture & assembly with a close link-up with the shopfloor.
The projects are also varied in nature with a healthy blend of customer projects, design standardisation and R&D
Senior Mechanical Design Engineer requirements:
It’s not essential that you tick all the boxes but extremely desirable if you do so. The role is flexible with areas of development on offer. They are also happy to look at less experienced candidates provided they are highly passionate about engineering
