Role: Senior Magento Developer
Location: Manchester (Fully remote currently, 2/3 days office travel per week required post-COVID)
Salary: £35,000-£45,000

This Senior Magento Developer role within a UK-leading eCommerce business will give you the opportunity to challenge yourself in a fast-paced, forward-thinking environment.

You will be in charge of building applications unique to the industry, with involvement in innovative projects which will be pivotal to the business’ success. With a team of over 300 people and an extensive network of online and retail partners, the company are investing significantly in bringing a leading-edge digital offering to the market.

The technology you will be working with includes the core Magento 2.3 platform, and a bespoke CRM and booking system.

On a day to day basis you will be:

• Working alongside experienced software developers, UX developers and the marketing team
• Delivering a list of new and old applications
• Developing new features for both the front and backend
• Bringing your concepts and ideas to the table

To succeed in this role, you will need:

• Experience with Object Orientated programming in PHP and MySQL
  • Magento 2 framework, 2.3+ preferred on Magento Cloud
• A desire to learn and develop
• Confidence mentoring junior developers
• Ability to communicate technical problems and solutions to non-technical staff
• Attention to detail and a solutions-focussed approach

In this role, you will also have exposure to:

• Front end technologies including JavaScript, React, Vue.js, Bootstrap
• PHP frameworks such as Laravel, Symfony or Zend
• DevOps technology such as Azure, Docker, Magento Cloud
