A leading manufacturer of special purpose machinery based in Darwen are looking for a R&D Mechanical Design Engineer to join their growing team!
Reporting directly to the Head of Projects you will be responsible for developing new and existing products. The role will involve taking concepts through the full lifecycle, including feasibility studies,3D CAD design, prototyping, project management and dealing with customers directly. The ideal candidate will have experience with capital equipment, knowledge of CFD and fundamental engineering first principles.
