Project Manager required to work on a large-scale decommissioning / rationalisation project. The objective of the project is to consolidate company wide systems that have ‘spiralled’ over time!

All the pre-work has been completed, board approval is in, and the work is ready to commence immediately. There is a culture of fully remote working as all the key stakeholders work all over the UK.

Fast paced change and transformation focusing on cost savings that can be derived from ‘cutting out’ old legacy systems and transitioned on to the already established ‘new platforms’. All key IT infrastructure has already been assessed / audited, next stage is to liaise with business users to identify where high value cost saving can be made, once agreed these will then be immediately passed to the project teams for delivery in collaboration with SME’s.

What you will be doing:

• Co-ordinating stakeholders and internal technical teams to transition / migrate users to alternative business systems
• Manage all project dependencies
• Hands-on delivery focused approach
• Reporting on project progress and cost savings
• Hitting the ground running
• Be the first dedicated person working on the project (shape it yourself)
• Identify and deliver ‘quick wins’ and longer-term cost saving advantages

Experience required:

• Minimum 5 years as an IT Project Manager
• Reporting of cost saving opportunities
• Experience of working in companies with 1000 + users
• Outstanding communication
• Highly advantageous delivering systems ‘cost saving’ / rationalisation measures
