Product Development Engineer – Contract

We are working with an excellent engineering firm who are looking to add multiple heads to their engineering team. As part of this growth, they are looking for a Contract Product Development Engineer.

Role Specifics:

  • Outside IR35
  • 12 Month Contract
  • Immediate start
  • Daresbury

The successful Product Development Engineer will work closely with the R&D team and be responsible for developing scientific concepts into innovative industrial products. Key duties include R&D, 3D CAD, documentation, calculations, testing and leading design of new and existing products through manufacturing.

In return the company are seeking a highly motivated Product Development Engineer who is looking for excel their career in a market leading company.

Product Development Engineer requirements:

  • Degree level in Engineering – Chemical, Engineering, Design (or similar)
  • Experience of working with electrochemistry, reactor design
  • Proven track record in Industrial Product Development
  • 3D CAD – ideally Inventor
  • Similar experience in Process Engineering – ideally Water or Wastewater
  • Experience with Electrochemical Cells / Electrolyzers (Highly Desirable)
  • Project Experience (Desirable)
