A market leading Pressure & Process Equipment manufacturer in the West Yorkshire region are looking for an experienced Principal Mechanical Design Engineer. This company provide both bespoke and retrofit solutions to sectors including Power, Petrochemical & Metallurgical.

This will include cradle to grave project involvement, focusing on the design of complex Industrial Piping & Pressure Equipment, as well overseeing design & pressure calculations, manufacture, testing and commissioning for projects valued up-to £5M.

The aim of this Principal Mechanical Design Engineer position is to oversee the Technical Services function of the department, whilst managing a small Engineering team with a scope to move into Engineering Management.

Principal Mechanical Design Engineer Requirements:

• Mechanical Engineering Degree (or equivalent)
• CAD – Inventor, Solidworks
• Pressure Vessel Design
• Piping Design Experience (essential)
• P&IDs
• Chartered Engineering Status (desirable)
