A great opportunity for a Mechanical Design Engineer has become available with a highly established client of ours near Stoke-On-Trent. This SME is looking for a motivated Mechanical Design Engineer to drive innovation and progress fast within the business.

For this Mechanical Design Engineer role we’re looking for a Design Engineer who is ideally degree educated and has a strong background in 3D CAD (SolidWorks). Good knowledge of first principles and FEA is highly desirable.

The role is on site 5 days a week with occasional travel to visit suppliers and manufacturers.

Mechanical Design Engineer requirements:

• Degree Educated – Mechanical Engineering (or similar)
• 3D CAD – ideally SolidWorks
• Knowledge of first principles / FEA
• The desire to progress to management level
