This is a great opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join a leading and cutting-edge tech business based in West Yorkshire. This is an exciting time to become involved in a brand-new project within a continuously growing manufacturer.

As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you’ll report directly to the Hardware Manager and be tasked with developing design concepts for a range of innovative electro-mechanical equipment. You’ll produce engineering drawings, specifications, Bill of Materials and part lists whilst working closely with the R&D department to generate new designs and improve existing product.

Mechanical Design Engineer Requirements:

• HNC/D or Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 3D CAD – Solidworks (others considered)
• Experience with designing Electro-Mechanical equipment – Ideally Electronic Enclosures/Housing
• Light Engineering Experience
• Strong DFM – Sheet Metal and Plastic Injection-Moulding
• EMC and Thermal Management experience (highly beneficial)
