A bespoke Machinery & Mechanical Handling Equipment manufacturer in the West Yorkshire region are looking for an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer. This role once fully trained, will move into a Chief Engineer position, working on one-off full life cycle projects for a highly niche sector.
As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you’ll report to the Chief Engineer and work in a multi-disciplined Engineering team. This will consist of overseeing design projects from initial conception, designing large scale structures and mechanical handling machinery, calculations and FEA analysis, detailed design, right through to handover on projects valued over £1M.
This role will suit an Engineer with a strong background in Mechanical Design, with experience designing Fabrications, Lifting Equipment and Machinery. This company are looking to grow considerably in the next 12 months, presenting further opportunities within the business.
