Due to unprecedented growth, a world-renowned engineering business are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to work across a multitude of exciting projects.

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the successful Mechanical Design Engineer will work on the full lifecycle of state-of-the-art plant machinery. The role involves everything from R&D and concept work through to detailed design, manufacturing, installation and commissioning.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer who wants to join a reputable business where you can work with a number of strong engineers and develop your skills. In addition to this, the company offer stability and opportunities to progress in the long run.

Mechanical Design Engineer Requirements:

• HNC/D or Degree level in Mechanical Engineering
• Heavy industry design experience – e.g. heavy equipment/structures/machinery/fabrications etc. (or similar) – essential
• 3D CAD – Inventor (or similar)
• Understanding of fundamental engineering calculations
