This is a great opportunity for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join a global engineering & manufacturing business in Greater Manchester.

As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you’ll report directly to the Team Lead and will be tasked with designing and re-designing a complex range electro-mechanical equipment. You’ll create detailed designs, prototypes and documents before seeing your work through to manufacture.

Mechanical Design Engineer requirements:

• HNC/D or Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or similar)
• 3D CAD – Inventor (or similar)
• High precision machined metal design experience – essential
• Electro-mechanical design experience – ideally integrating PCBs (desirable)
• Plastic component design skills (desirable)
