Due to company growth, and increase in work load a forward-thinking Engineering company based in Wigan who design and manufacture Special Purpose Machinery are looking for a mid-level Design Engineer to join their team.
The successful Design Engineer will have 3D CAD skills and strong knowledge of manufacturing processes. You will be working alongside the and taking jobs right from initial quote through to manufacture, installation, and commission. You will have great communication skills and be able to Liaise with customers and the shop floor as well as going on site visits to perform surveys.

Project Design Engineer requirements:
Degree or HNC/D in Mechanical Engineering (or similar)
CAD – Inventor, AutoCAD (essential)
Experience with sheet metal/fabrications.
Experience designing Machinery / Material Handling / Conveyors (highly desirable)
