Due to company growth, a leading Engineering company based in Chorley who specialise in special purpose machinery are looking for a highly experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to work on the full life cycle design of products.

The successful Mechanical Design Engineer will have strong 3D CAD skills, strong knowledge of high pressure systems and have experience dealing directly with customers. You will be responsible for design, development and specification of new and existing products.

This is a great opportunity for a Mechanical Design Engineer who is looking for a challenging role within a highly established company working on an exciting range of products.
 
Mechanical Design Engineer Requirements:

  • BEng or BSc in Mechanical Engineering
  • 3D CAD – SolidWorks (or similar)
  • Ability to carry out hand calculations
  • Experience working with bespoke systems/ machine design/pressure systems
  • Design experience of Electro-Mechanical Systems, Hydraulics and Pneumatics
