We are currently looking for multiple Service Desk Engineers to join one of our global partners at their new Merseryside site on a hybrid working basis (2 days per week on-site). Offering up to £30K, this is an exciting opportunity to join an established world-wide organisation.

You’ll be joining a small, dedicated team to provide second level technical support to stakeholders across all areas of the business. You will be at the core of identifying, researching and resolving technical issues and will provide ongoing guidance to the company’s software and hardware users.

Day to day you’ll be responsible for:
 

  • Providing quality and timely support to users
  • Provide ongoing training and share product knowledge to business stakeholders
  • Log and track issues and resolutions
  • Identifying ongoing technical trends
  • Brief customers and management on the status of resolutions

Key Skills:

  • At least 3 years’ experience in a technical support environment
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Diagnostic and analytical skills
  • Sense of urgency
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Troubleshooting and technical resolution capabilities

Desirable Skills:

  • 2 or 4 year Technical Trade school or engineering degree
  • Networking knowledge/experience
  • Experience working with bespoke systems
