An exciting opportunity has come up for an advanced and innovative technology company in the Sheffield area. We’re looking for an energetic Head of Software to lead a team that is being created from scratch.
The role of Head of Software is a result of strategic growth across the business and will report to Director of Software. You’ll be responsible for recruiting, leading, and mentoring a small team working on middleware applications for their products.
This role is the bridge between the embedded systems and the DevOps/Data science engineers. You’ll start by reviewing their existing code and software with a view then to implement new ideas, processes, and procedures.
You’ll eventually have full ownership of all software related issues within the business looking at architecture, design, development, bug fixing and deployment.
