A reputable Mechanical Handling Equipment manufacturer in the Sheffield region are looking for an experienced Design Manager. This company are leaders within their sector and focus heavily on Bespoke Equipment, where no two projects are the same.
As a Design Manager, you’ll work closely with the Technical Manager to oversee the Design and Project function of the business. This will involve taking projects from initial concept, through to on-site installation and commissioning. You’ll run kick-off meetings and delegate design tasks to the Mechanical Engineering team and liaise with the other departments to ensure each stage of the project is complete, alongside client visits.
This role will suit an Project Manager with a strong background in manufacturing, ideally with experience in design and engineering problems. This company specialise in Fabrications, Lifting Equipment and Machinery but will look at candidates from a wide range of backgrounds.
