A reputable East Yorkshire based manufacturer who specialise in bespoke Process Machinery design are looking to expand their ever-growing Engineering team by adding an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer.

This company supply on a global scale, offering an exciting opportunity to work on new projects, both across the UK & overseas.

Working in a close-knit team of Engineers, you’ll report directly to the Technical Manager and focus on the design of complex machinery from concept to completion. This includes the design of: P&IDs, piping, fabrications and pressure vessels along with providing calculations, reports and project schedules. There are also opportunities to meet with customers and to help with the mentoring of more junior employees.

Mechanical Design Engineer requirements:

  • Degree qualified in Mechanical/Chemical Engineering (or similar)
  • CAD – Inventor & AutoCAD
  • Proven experience designing Process / Pressure equipment
  • P&IDs
  • Knowledge of standards such as ASME, PED etc.
