A market leading commercial vehicle manufacturer are looking for a highly skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team!

The successful mechanical design engineer will have a background in mechanical engineering (ideally automotive/commercial vehicles). You will be tasked with creating 3D designs, testing, improving processes, taking products all the way through to production and be willing to have a hands on approach. You will be responsible for improving new and existing products, ideally have experience with fabrications and be capable of managing multiple projects at once.

Mechanical Design Engineer Requirements:

  • Degree or HNC/D in Mechanical Engineering
  • 3D CAD – Solidworks (or similar)
  • Hands on experience in manufacturing
  • Automotive / Commercial vehicle industry experience (highly desirable)
