A highly reputable Medical Equipment manufacturer in the West Yorkshire region are looking for a Design Engineer to strengthen their Engineering team. This is due to continued growth and development within the business.

You’ll report directly to the Engineering Manager and oversee the companies technical design for bespoke equipment used in the Medical sector. This will include new product design & development, prototyping, FEA testing and BOM’s.

This opportunity is perfect for a Design Engineer in the early stages of their career looking to further develop their design skills at a global recognised company.

Design Engineer Requirements:

• Apprentice Trained / HNC/D or Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 3D CAD – Solidworks (desirable)
• Experience in precision equipment, plastics, metal components etc. (desirable)
• GD&T (BS8888)
• Design for Manufacture
• Strong Organisational Skills
