Business Analyst / Development Team Manager/ Delivery Manager / Project Manager / Scrum Master

We are currently working exclusively with a fast-growing health provider who is now looking for someone to join the team to manage the development team to ensure the smooth delivery and integration of developments into new and existing products. This is a Warrington-based role requiring 2-3 days a week on-site.

The company themselves are one of the fastest growing health providers in the UK with over 1000 clients providing to over 700,000 employees. Having more than doubled in size over the last 2-3 years, they plan to expand by another 30% taking their headcount to over 1000 in the next year.

Reporting directly into the Head of R&D, the Delivery Manager will have responsibility for the software team with management responsibilities for a small team of developers, initially 6 with the prospect of future growth. You will have the ability to manage change and the main responsibilities/accountabilities will include:

• Management and prioritisation of workload across the team
• Run scrum meetings within the agile environment
• Deputise for and work collaboratively with the Head of R&D on all technical architecture aspects and complex problem solving
• Ensuring that quality, compliance and best practices are maintained and adhered by the team
• Management of key project deliverables ensuring that milestones are achieved
• Providing escalation to internal colleagues

Essential Skills/Experience:

• Management and leadership experience
• Highly motivated with a successful track record either as a Software Development Manager or Software Project Manager / Team Lead / Scrum Master
• Solid SDLC experience
• Scrum / Agile experience

Beneficial Skills/Experience:

• Previous hands-on development experience
• .Net | Microsoft stack
