Cyber Security Team Lead – Hybrid Working, ISO27001, ITIL, Azure

This growing Cyber Security function are looking for a team leader that will use their advanced knowledge and technical expertise, along with their dedication to customer service, to maintain a secure infrastructure for the data of the organisation and their customers.

Day to day you’ll be:

• Dealing with the day-to-day management of the cyber security team and deputizing for the manager when required.
• Creating and managing the Security cloud migration process, highlighting any gaps from experience and working to remediate
• Leading the team in a demanding environment, giving constructive feedback and working with the analysts to develop both individual and team performance
• Keeping up to date with the latest security threats and vulnerabilities, news, protocols and principles.
• Managing post-cyber security incident forensic investigations and reporting, bringing in 3rd party specialists if required
• Actively managing escalations and proactively acting to identify and action issues before they become escalations.
• Working with all areas of IT to ensure security of the infrastructure from the implementation of new systems through to the maintenance and monitoring of existing systems
• Developing, managing and maintaining the security of the Firm’s IT services, including liaising with third parties to ensure patching, resolving vulnerabilities and hardening systems as required
• Managing the Cyber Security Incident process/procedure, and the Cyber security Incident Response Team, leading war games and cyber security incident scenarios alongside the Cyber Security Manager to provide the IT department with the skills and knowledge of addressing any real cyber security incidents
• In and Out of Hours security response escalation point for any incident management
• Developing a keen understanding of the organisations security practices in order to help compose sound strategies.
• Maintaining the confidentiality of the organisation, its employees, and client information.
• Handling sensitive information and issues responsibly and with discretion.

• Be An excellent communicator that can engage with a multitude of key stakeholders in the business
• Have a solid understanding of infrastructure and security technologies (Server, VMware, Cisco Networking, Backups, Exchange, SIEM, Intrusion detection/prevention, Authentication systems etc.)
• Be Passionate about IT security
• Have an excellent understanding of security approaches: ISMS, risk analysis and assessments, the CIA triad, attack vectors including social engineering, cryptography, confidentiality issues and cyber security incident response best practices, including triage and chain of custody
