A highly-reputable Machinery & Lifting Equipment manufacturer in the West Yorkshire region are looking for an experienced Controls & Automation Engineer. This company has been established for over 30 years’ and specialises in the design and retrofit of bespoke machinery and equipment used in a global market.

You will work closely within a tight-knit Upgrades & Automation team, generating new designs to retrofit on-to complex machinery. The role will consist of PLC & Control System design, drive upgrades using Siemens S7, site visits and commissioning work. There is also further training and development involved, as well as international travel for those interested.

Electrical Design & Controls Engineer Requirements:

  • HNC/D or Degree in Electrical Engineering (or similar)
  • PLC Software design (Siemens S7)
  • Experience with Drives & Automation
  • Commissioning Experience
