A world-renowned engineering firm in the North Manchester area are looking to recruit a Control Systems Engineer to develop PLC code across a multitude of exciting projects.

Reporting to the Chief Engineer you will be tasked with everything from developing PLC/HMI code to customer specifications, client liaison, test & validation, documentation, design approval, troubleshooting and seeing your work through to commissioning.

This is a cradle to grave and you’ll be asked to work independently as well as with a team of engineers across multiple disciplines.

Control Systems Engineer requirements:

  • Degree / HND level in Engineering, Computing (or similar)
  • Experienced with PLC/HMI programming – ideally Siemens & Allen Bradley
  • SCADA
  • Electrical knowledge
  • Communication protocols – e.g. Profinet, Ethernet etc.
  • Able to travel occasionally
