A reputable Machinery and Metal Fabrication manufacturer in the West Yorkshire region are looking an experienced Applications Engineer. This company specialise in a number of sectors including Healthcare, Chemical, Pharmaceutical and many more.

As an Applications Engineer, you’ll report directly to the Sales Manager and work closely with the Sales team to understand and evaluate the full requirements of the end customer. You’ll oversee requirement specifications, tenders and general enquiries alongside 2D & 3D conceptual designs of company equipment.

This is a great opportunity to work in a multi-skilled Engineering team consisting of Mechanical, Electrical, Controls and Applications Engineers on complex machinery and equipment.

Applications Engineer Requirements –

• HNC/D or Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• CAD – Inventor / CREO (desirable and others considered)
• Experience in – Sales, Tendering, Estimation, Quotation, Projects (desirable)
• M&E Experience
• Sheet Metal Background (desirable)
• Previous Experience in a Manufacturing Environment
