This vacancy is to join one of the country’s most successful cloud and managed services providers supporting an impressive portfolio of clients across multiple industries. We are looking specifically for a 2nd line Infrastructure engineer that can get involved in a range of issues from infrastructure and backups to networking and security.

You should have a broad technical skillset and be excited about new technologies that can provide effective solutions to escalated technical issues, whilst providing a high level of technical expertise to the business.

You’ll be working with:

• Azure
• M365
• AD
• Windows Server
• Networking (LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, VLAN, TCP/IP, MPLS)
• VMware
• Fortinet
• Backups & Storage

Day to day you’ll be:

• Providing 2nd line infrastructure, security & network support
• Monitoring and maintaining infrastructure systems and networks
• Troubleshooting system and network problems
• Diagnosing and solving hardware/software faults
• Replacing equipment and parts as required.
• Providing onsite and remote support as needed
• Responsible for the administration of backups, antivirus, and security systems
• Updating and installing systems
• Liaising with 3rd party suppliers and support staff
• Supporting and implementing any new hardware including IT systems, networking and software
