You would be joining our established Delivery Team, working with some of the biggest and best-known tech/eCommerce businesses in and around Manchester, to help them secure the best tech talent on the market. This isn’t just a resourcing role – i.e., where you put in a lot of the hard work and someone else takes the credit with the client – you would be responsible for the day-to-day interaction with the client around presenting CV’s, arranging interviews and managing offers.

Here at Chroma, we take a pragmatic, consultative, no-nonsense approach to recruitment, developing strong relationships with our clients and candidates. Based in the heart of Manchester City Centre, we are now looking for multiple ambitious and self-motivated Senior Recruitment Consultants.

Across our Tech and Engineering departments, we are a close-knit team with a focus on training and development, and high quality in everything we do. As a small business, we believe in doing things properly and investing in our people, giving them the right tools for the role. Everyone has access to the latest recruitment technology including Bullhorn, Sourcebreaker, LinkedIn Recruiter and Idibu (to name a few). You will be working alongside a Business Unit Director or Team Manager ensuring you’re supported on your journey with us.

All consultants will be provided with a company phone and laptop from day one, giving everyone the flexibility to work in the office, at home (currently 2 days per week WFH) and also on-site with customers if needed.

What’s the job?

  • Work closely with Business Development Consultants to accurately identify the needs of our clients
  • Search and identify top candidates within your chosen vertical market, e.g. Software, DevOps, Change etc.
  • Search our Database and relevant Job Boards for suitable candidate
  • Telephone/Video screen candidates to ensure the correct cultural fit
  • Match candidates with clients or vacancies, managing the full process of interviews to offer
  • Network within your chosen vertical market to create a Candidate ecosystem.
  • Develop your own personal brand by creating interesting and engaging content to use Social Media Channels
  • Given clear goals and targets to achieve based on industry expertise
  • Listen | Understand | Deliver to provide top-class service to candidates and clients
