A highly specialised global business in the Merseyside area is looking to employ a Project Engineer from a Controls background to join their small but growing R&D team.

You will be tasked with designing and integrating control systems into high spec industrial equipment and will be actively involved in the equipment’s full lifecycle. Key duties include: PLC programming/development, project management, test & validation, commissioning, and customer support.

This is a brilliant opportunity to work on a state-of-the-art product range in a company that will give you a high level of autonomy and creative control over your work.

Control Systems – Project Engineer Requirements:

Essential:

  • HNC/D or Degree level in Electrical/Electronic Engineering (or similar)
  • Strong PLC development and programming skills
  • Some form of Project Management/Product Support experience in the industry

Beneficial:

  • Industrial Network Protocols experience
  • Proven track record working on industrial equipment
  • CAD skills
