We are working with a client that has several greenfield projects beginning in 2019. The current tech lead is hands on but has a major data warehousing objective to complete meaning he needs a PHP developer to come in and take ownership of the new projects to free up his time. The PHP developer will be focused on heading up back end tasks although someone with full stack capabilities would be ideal.

The business currently turns over £8m with a target of £10m into 2019 due to expansion into the US. The PHP developer hired for this role will be a huge part of this growth as many of the projects relate to crating a new eCommerce site in the USA and a way of seamlessly converting currencies in line with current exchange rates. You’ll be responsible for the full phase of the software lifecycle and take ownership from inception to delivery and have a direct impact on business efficiencies and success that you often do not see in businesses of this size. One the interesting aspects to this business is that the founders truly understand the development process and how unpredictable that can be. This means that demands and timescales are not overly ambitious because quite simply, the owners ‘get’ software development.
