This business has consistently grown over the last 5 years and they are venturing on a new period of expansion due to growth and increased revenues. Multiple Mechanical Design Engineers are needed as they look to significantly invest in R&D and push the boundaries within their industry.

The role of Mechanical Design Engineer reports directly to the Team Leader but has a dotted line to the Engineering Director. This business offers the chance to work on very interesting technology in one of the fastest growing markets at the moment. They sell their products globally allowing them to continually reinvest.

You’ll be working on products from cradle to grave, designing electro-mechanical products that will genuinely improve people’s lives. This company offers great training and progression working with some of the best engineers in the area. The company looks after its staff and rewards hard work on a regular basis.

Mechanical Design Requirements:

  • Degree qualified or equivalent education
  • 3D CAD – Solidworks (desirable)
  • 2D CAD – AutoCAD
  • Design of electro-mechanical products
  • DFM/DFT
  • Pneumatics or moving mechanisms (advantageous)
  • Prototyping and testing
