A brilliant opportunity has emerged in the Runcorn area at a reputable Engineering company for a Mechanical Design Engineer to work on the full lifecycle of a range bespoke Hydraulics systems.

Working for an enviable portfolio of customers, you will be actively involved in designing hydraulic components and assemblies, producing 3D models/2D drawings, technical reports, mechanical calculations, bill of materials, costings, test & validation and seeing your design through to manufacture.

This is an excellent opportunity for a junior to mid-level Mechanical Design Engineer who is looking to take their career to the next level within a well-established company that can offer stability and progression.

Mechanical Design Engineer Requirements:

  • HNC/D or Degree Level in Mechanical Engineering or similar
  • Mechanical engineering design experience, ideally on rotating equipment – Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Engines, Pumps etc.
  • 3D CAD – Pro-E/Creo or similar
  • GD&T
