My client are looking for a junior or graduate software developer to work in their Manchester City centre office. You’ll be working on developing web applications on cloud based platforms whilst also performing general web development tasks (creating landing pages / amending websites etc). This role comes with a very detailed training plan, career path and salary incentives that many other businesses do not offer junior software developers. (see bottom of advert for full details)

In order to be considered for this opportunity you must be able to demonstrate a high level of natural ability as a programmer, ideally you’ll have a codebase or portfolio of your work (BitBucket/GitHub etc) and be the kind of person that enjoys coding in your spare time as well as it being your chosen career.

You’ll be expected to be a well rounded graduate or junior software developer who can demonstrate a broad range of knowledge and passion for software development. At this stage you should have an open mind into which direction / programming languages you want to specialize in. Being a recent graduate or someone with 6 months to a years’ commercial experience you’ll have had exposure to JavaScript, PHP, CSS (OOP) and a solid understand of modern MVC platforms.

The client have an open mind in terms of which programming languages you’ve used previously although their current stack is PHP, Java and some C# meaning that candidates with these skills would be at an advantage with a heavy leaning on back end development. As most of their internal systems and websites are hosted in the cloud (AWS) you’ll get a good deal of exposure to this exciting and lucrative area with full training and certification paid for over time.
