Are you a front end developer tired of being treated as just another employee? Do you long to work for a business that goes the extra mile to make sure their staff are happy?
Like a lot of businesses my client offer well being benefits like gym / health-club membership, but they also provide daily subsidised meals, private healthcare for you and your family an exceptional pension scheme and industry leading holiday allowance (and an option to buy more!) If you want to work for a genuinely global business that actually DO put staff first, this is the role for you.
As a front end developer you’ll be used to working closely with a number of cross functional teams within the business but you’ll mostly interact with the fast growing UX department and have a number of other developers, designers and analysts to share your ideas with.
Close attention to detail is important with most front end developer jobs but it’s crucial for this client as their interactive solutions are exposed to millions of consumers on a daily basis. Generally you’ll be working from the design teams PSD’s where you’ll be expected to create well structured layouts and know the core front end languages and processes listed below;
In return you’ll be working in a magnificent environment, for a global brand where you’ll be given the opportunity to grow and develop alongside some really talented developers, designers and marketers. The front end developer will be offered an industry leading financial benefits package as well as a generous development budget for you to grow as a developer.
This business has a presence in central Manchester as well as south Manchester. In truth this role could be based in either location, although you’d need to spend one day in every 14 days in South Manchester (so ideally you’ll have a car/driving licence)
This is an excellent opportunity for a front end developer to work for a global business where you’ll be given the tools, environment and investment to drive your career forward.
