Electronics Design Engineer (Analogue/Digital/FPGA)

A leading and cutting-edge tech business based in West Yorkshire are looking for an Electronics Design Engineer to join their large R&D team. This role is due to new expansion and growth plans from the generated sales. They are one of the leaders in their market and are looking to continue that dominance with re-investing in to the business.

As an Electronics Design Engineer, you’ll be reporting to the Hardware Team Leader who is responsible for 7-8 engineers. You must be capable of working in a cross functional environment working with mechanical, firmware, software and test engineers.

The role of Electronics Design Engineer is cradle to grave and you’ll be asked to work independently as well as with other engineers. This role requires someone who can hit the ground running so wouldn’t be suitable for less experienced engineers.

Electronics Design Engineer Requirements:

  • Degree qualified or equivalent level of qualification
  • Analogue Circuit Design
  • Digital/High Speed Digital Circuit Design
  • FPGA/VHDL design & programming
  • PCB Design & Layout
  • Verification & Validation
  • EMC Design & Compliance

It is not essential you have all the skills above, but extremely desirable if you do. The role is flexible and there are areas of development on offer.
