Due to sustained growth, a well-established engineering firm with a strong presence across the UK is looking to add multiple heads to their design team. As part of this recruitment drive, they are looking for an Electrical Design Engineer to work on projects from design to commission.

You will sit within a vibrant, multidiscipline team working on the full design life cycle on a range of control panels and related equipment. Key duties include customer liaison, specifications, electrical layout drawings/assemblies, component selection, documentation and seeing your work right through to assembly and commission.

This is a brilliant opportunity for developing Electrical Engineer to receive direct training and support from the Senior Design Engineer with the view to progress you within the department. In addition to this, the company offer stability and strong benefits package.

Electrical Design Engineer requirements:

  • HNC/D or Degree Level in an Electrical Engineering discipline
  • Electrical schematic design – GAs, cable schedules, block diagrams
  • 2D CAD – AutoCAD (or similar)
  • Documentation – URS/FDS (or similar)
  • Infrastructure/Civil/Water Industry background – desirable
