Due to sustained growth, a well-established machinery company in the West Yorkshire area are looking to add multiple heads to their design team. As part of this recruitment drive, they are looking for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer.

You will sit within a vibrant, multidiscipline team working on the full design lifecycle of a range of bespoke automated machinery for a variety of industries. Key duties include customer specifications, electrical layout drawings/diagrams, component selection, costings, test & validation – right through to assembly and commissioning.

Electrical Design Engineer requirements:

  • HNC/D or Degree Level in an Electrical Engineering discipline (or similar)
  • Proven track record doing Electrical Design in the industry – essential
  • 2D CAD – EPlan (or similar)
  • BS and International Standards Knowledge
  • Experience working on Automation/Special Purpose Machinery – very beneficial
