This business is a large multi-site business who specialise in bespoke machinery used in a number of industries. As a result of their continued growth, we are looking for a Applications Engineer from an electronics test, validation & verification background.

The role of Applications Engineer will be working within R&D providing support and expertise on the overall functionality and progress of the products. The role sits within software and electronics but has more of a bias to hardware. You’ll be working closely with all other internal departments such as service, quality and manufacturing.

You’ll be responsible for learning the product range as quickly as possible to support the overall development. This role is to act like the customer providing detailed feedback to the hardware and software teams. You’ll also be asked to provide feedback on products for future bids and support new projects. A big part of this role is testing the products like the end user to give analysis of performance, user interface and report any problems.

Applications Engineer Requirements:

  • Degree or HND/HNC level education in Electronics/Electrical Engineering
  • Previous experience of electronic systems
  • Understanding of special purpose machinery
  • Electronics Test, Validation & Verification
