A highly specialised global business in the Merseyside area are looking to employ an Applications Engineer from an Electrical/Controls background to join their small but growing R&D team.

You will be tasked with designing fully certified industrial machinery/equipment to a high standard and will be actively involved in the products full lifecycle. Key duties include: equipment design, project management, procurement, costings, commissioning, customer support, product support and researching new technologies.

This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to work on a state-of-the-art product range in a company that will give you a high level of autonomy and creative control over your work.

Controls Application Engineer:

  • Degree level in Electrical/Controls/Electronic Engineering (or similar)
  • Proven track record working on industrial equipment
  • PLC/Electrical Controls experience (essential)
  • CAD skills (very beneficial)
  • Industrial standards experience – e.g. C.E, RoHS, WEEE etc.
  • Willing to travel abroad 2-3 times a year
