Resourcer / Trainee Sourcing Consultant

Who are we?

Small business based in the luxury surroundings of King Street in Central Manchester. We offer a relaxed, KPI-free environment, where the directors collaborate alongside the staff.

With over 60 years’ combined experience within the business, we’ll approach the industry with a grown-up, no-nonsense perspective. There are established IT and Engineering departments, with a recently opened Legal department, so you can choose your career based on your network and skills.

Since founding in 2016, the business has grown from strength to strength, and we are now looking to bring on two sourcing consultants to keep the success going. It’s a close-knit office, so we’re looking for talented people who are up for a laugh, and committed to providing quality service to candidates and clients.

What else is on offer?

The office overlooks Albert Square, and includes full access to serviced shower facilities, car parking and bike storage.

You’ll have access to the latest cloud recruitment and candidate sourcing technology, and be taking part in our weekly office training / idea sharing sessions. This is part of a 7-Step training and career development programme.

Your role is as you make it: whether you’re all about the candidates or driven by client development (or both!), you’ll be creating your own opportunities, with uncapped commission and incentives attached to your success. We’re all about personal fit and making the most of your skills.

Work-life balance here is key. You’ll get an hour for lunch and a 4pm finish on Friday, and we offer flexible start / finish times, with work-from-home option. We often use our lunchbreaks to go for runs, and as a team we get out at least once a month for dinner/drinks. You’ll get your birthday off, and an early finish for Christmas.

What’s the job?

  • Search and identify top candidates within your chosen industry
  • Network within your market, speaking to candidates and identifying their needs and requirements
  • Meet, coach and develop professional relationships with candidates and clients
  • Match candidates with clients or vacancies, and set up meetings
  • Listen | Understand | Deliver to provide top-class service to candidates and clients

  • Willing and able to learn and bring new ideas
  • Able to follow a structure and process while being innovative and creative
  • Tech savvy and social media aware
  • Smart speaker and writer
