Conversion Rate Optimisation Manager

Our client are seeking a talented, conversion rate optimisation manager (CRO) to work in their beautiful Manchester office. This is a key hire for the business as user experience and monitoring conversion rates is at the very heart of what they do. The ideal Conversion rate optimisation manager (CRO) will have a keen eye for user experience (UX) with a strong analytical mindset. The candidate should be highly numerate and commercially aware whilst used to working to tight deadlines.

Working in a fast paced environment with some great benefits this role is certainly not for the faint hearted but will certainly provide some interesting yet challenging opportunities.

Core Responsibilities 

  • Constantly evaluate which areas of their website can be improved aesthetically and impact sales
  • Use analytical skills to understand site performance and spot areas of improvement.
  • Analyse the impact of changes and communicate with actionable insights.
  • Perform site audits to ensure a consistent and high standard of user experience is being maintained.
  • Generating ideas to improve site conversions and experience of A/B testing.
  • Conducting user acceptance tests (UAT)

Required Skills

  • Data modelling, analytical and data manipulation skills
  • Excellent SQL skills and command of MS office – excellent with MS Excel
  • Use of Google Analytics or similar web analysis tools
  • A/B Testing

Desirable 

  • Experience using Big Query
  • Propensity Modelling
  • Segmentation
  • Project Management
